Bio

Jeff Hadachek is a Ph.D. candidate in the Agriculture and Resource Economics department at UC Davis, working with Dr. Katrina Jessoe, and is a student researcher with the Agricultural Water Center. He studies agricultural policy and production decisions and the implications for environmental outcomes. His research projects and dissertation addresses agriculture's impact on drinking water access and quality in the United States and the performance of the agricultural supply chain under extreme events. He holds a BS in Agricultural Economics from Kansas State University. 

In the fall, Jeff will join the department of Ag and Applied Economics as an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. In his new role, his research, teaching, and outreach will continue to address agricultural water issues and the economics of sustainable agricultural systems.
