Ibukunoluwa Fademi

My name is Ibukunoluwa Oladapo Fademi. A Ph.D candidate in the Extension Plant Science Department, New Mexico State University with Dr. John Idowu. I studied Soil Science and Land Resources Management.  I hold a B. Agric in Soil Science from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria, An M. Sc. in Agronomy (Soil Option) from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and An M.Phil. Soil Science and Land Resources Management from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. My research has focused on Soil and Water Conservation for sustainable use under intensive crop intensification. I have also been in the vanguard of best cropping systems, integrated soil fertility management and efficient soil and water management technologies to achieve sustainable farming systems practices across Nigeria; Involved in capacity building of smallholder farmers in efficient and best farming system practices (cropping systems, tillage practices and organic farming), climate smart agricultural water management principles such as, soil water conservation (field in-situ strategies), residual soil moisture based crop production and soil moisture evaluation.
