Our main goal is to advance food and nutritional security of the United States by sustaining irrigated agriculture in the Southwestern United States (SW US) while addressing the co-benefits for the environment and human health by addressing groundwater overdraft and water quality trends in major Aquifer systems including the Central Valley Aquifer of California (CA), Central Arizona (AZ) alluvial aquifer and the Lower Rio Grande basin in New Mexico (NM).
